Press-On Nails

Are your press-on nails handmade?

Yes. Every Rhiannon’s Talons nail set is handmade to order using high-quality soft-gel tips and professional gel products.

Because each set is created by hand, there may be tiny variations between sets, particularly with hand-painted details, patterns and 3D nail art. This is part of what makes each set unique.

Are press-on nails reusable?

Yes. With careful application, removal and storage, your press-on nails can be worn again.

How reusable they are will depend partly on how they are applied and removed. Adhesive tabs are generally easier to remove from the underside of the nail, while nail glue may leave more residue that needs to be carefully removed before reapplying your set.

What comes with my nail set?

Your press-on nail set includes a prep kit containing the essentials you’ll need to prepare and apply your nails, including nail glue and nail tabs.

Full application and care guidance is also provided.

Can I choose a different nail shape or length?

Many designs can be made in a choice of shapes and lengths.

The available options will be shown on the individual product page. Some designs, particularly those featuring detailed artwork, charms or 3D elements, may only be suitable for certain lengths.

If you love a design but would like something changed, you can also request a custom set.

Can I have a design in different colours?

In many cases, yes.

If you would like to change the colours, artwork or other elements of an existing design, please use the Custom Orders form. I’ll review your request and let you know what is possible before you place your custom order.

Sizing

How do I know what size nails I need?

You can measure your natural nails using the instructions on the Find My Size page and compare your measurements with the sizing guide.

You can then choose one of the standard size sets or provide your individual nail sizes if you need a custom fit.

What if the standard sizes don’t fit me?

No problem. You can provide the individual tip size required for each finger when ordering.

This is a good option if your nails don’t match one of the standard size combinations.

What if I’m between two nail sizes?

If you are unsure between two sizes, it is generally better to choose the slightly larger nail rather than one that is too small.

A nail that is slightly larger can usually be gently filed at the sides for a more precise fit.

Do you sell sizing kits?

Yes. Sizing kits are available for selected nail shapes and allow you to try the actual nail tips before ordering your finished set.

This can be particularly useful if you are unsure of your measurements or are trying a new shape.

Application & Removal

Should I use nail glue or adhesive tabs?

That depends on how you plan to wear your nails.

Nail glue provides a stronger hold and is suited to longer wear. Adhesive tabs are ideal when you want to wear your nails for a shorter period or want to make removal easier.

Whichever method you choose, good nail preparation makes a big difference.

How do I prepare my nails before applying press-ons?

Start with clean, dry nails. Gently push back your cuticles, lightly buff the surface of your natural nails and remove any dust or oils before application.

Avoid applying hand cream, cuticle oil or other oily products immediately before applying your nails, as these can affect adhesion.

How do I remove my press-on nails?

Never pull or force press-on nails off, as this can damage both your natural nails and the press-ons.

Removal will depend on whether you used nail glue or adhesive tabs. Follow the removal guidance provided with your set and take your time.

Custom Orders

Do you make custom press-on nails?

Yes. Custom sets are available if you would like something created especially for you.

You can request particular colours, themes, shapes, lengths and nail art, and you can upload inspiration or reference images through the Custom Orders form.

Custom sets are great for weddings, birthdays, cosplay, Pride events, holidays, concerts, outfit matching or simply creating something completely unique.

Can you copy a picture exactly?

Reference images are very welcome and help me understand the style you’re looking for.

However, custom sets are handmade and I may adapt elements to suit the nail shape, length, available materials and my own nail-art techniques. I won’t reproduce another nail artist’s work as an exact copy, but I can use reference images as inspiration to create something with a similar feel.

How does the custom order process work?

Complete the Custom Orders form with as much information as possible about the set you would like, including your preferred colours, design, shape, length and sizing.

You can also upload reference images.

I’ll review your request and respond with a quote, estimated processing time and any questions or suggestions before your order goes ahead.

Can I cancel or return a custom order?

Because custom and personalised products are created specifically for you, they cannot normally be returned simply because you have changed your mind.

Cancellation may also not be possible once work has begun.

This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty or not as agreed. Please see the Returns Policy for full details.

Processing & Delivery

How long will my nails take to make?

Rhiannon’s Talons products are handmade to order, so processing times can vary depending on the design.

Simple designs can usually be produced more quickly than sets involving detailed hand painting, multiple layers, charms or 3D nail art.

The estimated processing time will be shown on the relevant product page or provided with your custom-order quote.

Is processing time the same as delivery time?

No.

Processing time is the time needed to make and prepare your order. Delivery time begins once your completed order has been handed to the delivery carrier.

If you need your nails for a particular date or event, please allow time for both production and delivery.

Do you offer UK delivery?

Yes. UK delivery options are available at checkout, with the available services and prices shown before you complete your order.

Returns & Problems With Your Order

Can I return press-on nails?

For hygiene reasons, returns may be restricted once packaging or hygiene seals have been opened.

Custom and personalised items also have different return rules because they have been made specifically for you.

What should I do if there is a problem with my order?

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect or you believe something is missing, please contact me as soon as possible with your order details.

Photos of the item and packaging may be helpful when investigating what has happened.

Hand & Nail Care

Do you only sell press-on nails?

No. Rhiannon’s Talons also offers a selection of hand and nail-care products alongside our handmade press-on nails.

Can hand-care products be returned?

Return eligibility can depend on the condition of the product and whether any hygiene seal or packaging has been opened.

Gift Cards

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes. Rhiannon’s Talons gift cards are available if you’d like to treat someone but aren’t sure which nail design, shape or size they would choose.

They’re also handy when someone has very strong opinions about their nails. We respect that. 💅
